Transilvania Construcții and DB Schenker, a Build-to-suit partnership receptive to the latest developments from the international industrial market.

Transilvania Constructii is developing a new Class A project for DB Schenker, the largest worldwide logistics and transport services provider.

In 2022, Transilvania Constructii will deliver a new Build-to Suit Class A project for one of the largest tenants in its clients portfolio – DB Schenker. The new development is a terminal with a total surface area of 2,330 sqm which includes operational areas, warehousing and Class A office spaces equipped with HVAC system, LED lighting, 24/7 CCTV video surveillance system and ample parking for trucks.

Currently, DB Schenker is one of the most important and oldest tenants of TRC PARKS network and the choice of TRC Park Cluj from Juc-Herghelie as the best option for them to set up a new terminal to support their business development activities, give us confidence that the development potential of this region is very high”, said the CEO of Transilvania Constructii.

TRC PARK CLUJ is the largest Class A industrial project developed by Transilvania Construcții, located within the TETAROM III industrial park. It covers an area of 40 hectares, with a total built area of approx. 40,000 sqm and land for future Build-to suit developments.

Regarding the industrial developments that Transilvania Constructii has currently planned, they will spread on the Romanian territory, especially near the highway junctions, following the development of a network of Class A industrial parks that will operate under the national brand TRC Parks.

The ongoing projects are mostly pre-leased being carried out following detailed market analysis, so the developer was receptive to the opportunities found following these rigorous studies. Also, the pre- rental of ongoing projects shows that the industrial market is constantly expanding and the Build-to Suit system has become an evolving trend among companies wishing to grow their business.
